Simi’s story:

Simi was severely emaciated when we pulled her from a kill shelter, where she was owner-surrendered with her mate Savitar. She had been over-bred and under-fed, and showed signs of being physically abused.

She’s timid but very affectionate and playful. She loves a ball, and loves playing outside in the wading pools and exploring our pastures. This girl is working on her leash manners and basic obedience, and she is also crate training. Since we’ve spent time socializing her with the the other dogs in our rescue, she’s making steady progress and is now living in a foster home with several other dogs and 4 kids ranging from 10 -15 years old.

Although she is in a safe and happy foster home, she would love to find her furever home and family soon!

Simi’s Diary

UDPATE 1/10/19 Simi is doing great with all the dogs in her foster home but does not do well with small dogs. She would be ok in a home with kids age 10 and above, but we do not recommend small children since she is very energetic.
