Who we are:
NaNook and Nakoda’s Big Paw Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization established in 2018. Operating in central Texas, we are the only 501(c)3 animal rescue organization in our county. Our priority is rescuing large/giant breed dogs.
Our Mission:
To help save, rehabilitate, adopt, or provide sanctuary for the abandoned, abused and neglected large/giant breed dogs as well as find, test, and assist training service dogs for veterans.
What We Do:
NNBPR pulls large/giant breed dogs from kill shelters whenever possible. We are able to work with them in a safe and caring space, and adopt them out to loving homes. We work with dogs that have behavior/abuse issues in order to rehabilitate them and place them in an appropriate home. We educate the public on the need for spay/neutering in our local community and the consequences of back-yard breeding.
